Is there an easy way to transfer one or more document folders directly from my workspace to another user or to someone outside the system?

You can do this relatively easily by selecting the folders and/or files and selecting Zip Files under Actions in the Documents Section. Once the zipped file has been created, highlight the zipped file and click the Share button. You can email the link to the zipped file to the person to whom you wish to transfer the folders and/or files.
