Enabling Pop-ups for Quick Chat

To use the browser-based Quick Chat feature in your account, you must enable pop-ups from your workspace Web address (i.e., your workspace login page).

 

Firefox: Under Tools/Options/Content, you must either:

  1. Uncheck Block pop-up windows (this will allow pop-ups from all sites); or
  2. Check Block pop-up windows, click Exceptions, and then
    • Enter the "domain" part of your login page as an exception by typing the part of your login page after "https://" and ending in ".com", and
    • Click Allow.

 

Internet Explorer: Under Tools/Pop-up Blocker, you must either:

  1. Turn Off Pop-up Blocker (this will allow pop-ups for all sites); or
  2. Under Pop-up Blocker Settings,
    • Enter the "domain" part of your login page as an exception by typing the part of your login page after "https://" and ending in ".com", and
    • Click Allow.

 

Chrome: Under Tools/Options/Under the Hood/Content Settings/Pop-ups, you must either:

  1. Select Allow all sites to show pop-ups (this will allow pop-ups from all sites); or
  2. Click Exceptions, click Add, and then,
    • Enter the "domain" part of your login page as an exception by typing the part of your login page after "https://" and ending in ".com", and
    • Select Allow from the drop-down and click OK.

 

Safari: Under Tools (the Gear symbol with a dropdown), you must that make sure that Block Pop-Up Windows is unchecked.
